Product Description

ToeGrips are natural rubber cylinders that slide onto a dog’s weight-bearing toenails, adhere by friction, and create the grip zone--gripping the floor in a way dog’s toenails cannot. They are accepted without notice by the majority of dogs. They are easily removed and re-used after nail trimming. ToeGrips provide confident mobility for patients and peace of mind for clients. Ideal for senior dogs with weakness and/or arthritis, dogs recuperating from orthopedic surgery, rehabilitating from musculoskeletal injuries, and dogs with neurological conditions.

Product Information
Measuring the nails is a recommended, one-time process for each dog. Improperly sized, ToeGrips may quickly fall off or migrate into the nail bed. For best results, nails should be appropriately trimmed before sizing and applying ToeGrips. Step 1: Wrap a piece of dental floss around the midshaft of the toenail. Step 2: Hold the floss, wrapped around the nail circumference, with one hand. Step 3: Use a Sharpie to mark across both pieces of floss. This will generate two points. Step 4: Stretch the floss and measure the distance between the two points in millimeters. Step 5: Repeat for all weightbearing nails on one front and one back paw. Step 6: Based on the measurements obtained (not the average), select the proper size. Sometimes a dog will require a combination of two sizes. SIZES: * 9-12mm = Yellow (XS); * 13-15mm = Red (S); * 16-19mm = Blue (M); * 20-23mm = Green (L); * 24-27mm = Purple (XL); * 28-30 = (Orange XXL); * 31-36mm = Navy (XXXL).
Active Ingredients
Natural rubber.
Directions for User
Prepare ToeGrips in isopropyl/rubbing alcohol (or surgical spirit). Apply ToeGrips to each nail, and monitor them daily. Generally need to be replaced every 2-3 months.
Special Precautions
Measuring your dog’s nails is recommended for correct sizing. Improperly sized, ToeGrips may fail to help your dog, ride up the nail, or quickly fall off. If neglected, ToeGrips can migrate up the nail into the skin and cause harm. Please inspect your dog’s ToeGrips and toes daily to ensure proper positioning. ToeGrips should be removed at least monthly to inspect their condition and wear. Before replacing/reapplying the ToeGrips, your dog’s nails should also be inspected and may be trimmed. Choking Hazard - Keep out of the reach of children. May be harmful to cats in ingested.
